How far along: 20 Weeks! H A L F W A Y!

Gender: GIIIIIIRL!! I still can’t fully believe it + I feel like I need to pinch myself because yayyyyyy.

Weight gain: 13lbs last I checked. I’ll know more next week at our doctor’s appointment!

Maternity clothes: GUYS. I bought the cutest maternity pants ever that I’m ALREADY excited about wearing in the early postpartum days. These are the ones I’m rocking + these and these are a few pairs that I know I’ll be happily snatching up in the next couple of weeks. Can you tell that I love skinny jeans?!

Stretch Marks: No new ones but I have an insane spider/varicose vein that has shown it’s effin face + I just can’t deal with how angry it looks. The good ol’ web says to stay off my feet but ya know, EXCEPT IF YOU HAVE A TODDLER.

Belly button In or Out: In. Out. Shallow already and I don’t really get it. I’m carrying so differently this time time around. My belly is less torpedo and more…round?

Sleep: Good. I mean. I want more of it, obviously. But. I’m managing.

Best moment this week: George came down with hand foot mouth so that SUCKED but then we had a lovely long weekend with our friend + his family (who is pretty much my tribe soooo) and GBB was able to ride + drive a tractor and enjoy the country air. So, yeah. Best moment was him feeling better + us leaving the city. OH, and I made a damn good peach crisp the other night.

Miss anything: I’d like to say the option of having a glass of red wine after a VERY long day. I don’t even necessarily want to drink it but having the option is everything.

Movement: YES! Rolls and delicate turns. The greatest feeling!!

Cravings: Hmm nothing super new-the usual suspects: sushi. Ramen. Steak. OH, and I was really craving sautéed kale so I made some last night + it was delicious.

Looking forward to: FALL! And all the wonderful festivities that it brings. I’ll be sharing our fall bucket list soon. Oh, and getting our home in order + making room in our quaint little cottage home for baby sissy.

Now that the weather is cooling down + the slow cooker is being pulled out, I’m happy to report that there will be more blog content coming your way. Nothing better than getting cozy on my couch after dude is snoozing + writing. Oh, and having Gilmore Girls playing. Anyone else start watching that show on September 1st?! IT’S LIKE A NEW TRADITION FOR ME–second year in a row + it feels good.

Thanks (as always!) for reading my friends!
